WARNING: DO NOT OPEN “COUNCIL OF CHURCHES” Fake Letter

To our Beloved Community,

You may have received a letter in the mail, purportedly from our organization, with some really strange content. It’s a fake letter, and it is not from the Colorado Council of Churches. The letter is a rambling screed that doesn’t even remotely reflect our values.

We primarily communicate with you by email, social media and our website. If you ever do receive a letter from us, it will always be signed, printed on our letterhead, and contain a cogent message. If you receive a suspicious letter, please contact us so we may follow up with postal authorities and law enforcement. We do hope to prevent future mailings, but we’ll need your help to do so. The more information that we can gather, the better. Otherwise, please recycle those materials immediately.
