The Colorado Council of Churches is exploring how we might assist local rural congregations in addressing and making an impact on rural health care issues in Colorado. A few ideas that have surfaced are: 1) provide space in their facilities to local clinics to enable them to expand their services; 2) become tech sites which would enable their community to provide better telecommunication diagnostic services. 3) advocate for policy changes that would allow for more flexability for health care providers in rural communities in Colorado.
