Our Team

Adrian Miller

Executive Director

Adrian Miller is a Colorado native and a lifelong member of Campbell Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Denver, Colorado. Adrian is a graduate of Stanford University and Georgetown University Law School. After practicing law in Denver for several years, Adrian relocated to Washington, D.C. and became a special assistant to President William Jefferson Clinton and the Deputy Director of the President’s Initiative for One America. After his White House stint, Adrian returned to Colorado to work at The Bell Policy Center as its Director of Outreach and General Counsel. Adrian later served as Deputy Legislative Director and Senior Policy Analyst to Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. He has served as executive director since June 2013.

Adrian also has a passion for African American food traditions and has authored award-winning books on soul food, African American presidential chefs, and barbecue.
